Personal Background: I was born and raised here in San Diego, CA. Lived in Santee most of my childhood. Graduated from Santana High School in 1999. In 2006, I married my high-school sweetheart, Donny Lewis. In 2007, we had our daughter Karlee. In 2010, we had our son Drake. In 2018, we had our third “surprise” baby boy, Trent. We live in Santee (I don’t think I’ll ever leave, ha). We are very involved in our kids sports and love to go camping as a family.
Professional Background: I graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration: Accounting. I have been doing taxes since the 2004 filing year. In 2012, I became an Enrolled Agent. An enrolled agent is granted unrestricted rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS, demonstrates special competence in tax matters, adheres to ethical standards and is required to stay current with tax law and regulations by completing a minimum amount of continuing education annually.
I work full time as a staff accountant for a small manufacturing business. I have worked for this company since 1998. During tax season, I work both jobs… and continue throughout the year with extensions and some other bookkeeping. I’m definitely busy, busy, busy (and love it)! My greatest job of all is being a mommy!
